Matt Kalil continues to prove he's the No. 1 offensive tackle prospect in the draft.
I’ve confirmed that all 32 NFL teams, except for the Kansas City Chiefs, attended Southern California’s Pro Day on Wednesday, March 7th.
The top prospect for USC in this year’s draft is offensive tackle Matt Kalil, who measured in at 6-6 ½ and 308 pounds on Wednesday and stood on all of the numbers he produced at the Scouting Combine. Kalil should be a top 3 draft pick in April and appears destined for the Minnesota Vikings.
Another Trojans prospect that could find his way into the opening frame of the draft is defensive end Nick Perry. At 6-2, 270 pounds, Perry had a great showing at the Scouting Combine and received rave reviews for his workout during the Pro Day. Perry has displayed the ability to be scheme diverse this offseason and a potential impact player as a 3-4 outside linebacker.
Other USC prospects that will likely hear their name called on draft day are: defensive tackle DaJohn Harris (3rd – 4th Round), inside linebacker Chris Galippo (5th – 6th Round), tight end Rhett Ellison (6th – 7th Round) and running back Marc Tyler (6th – 7th Round).
