MOCK DRAFT
As of Saturday, January 21, 2012
Now that all of the draft-eligible prospects have made their football futures known, the draft boards are starting to take shape and where players will likely land in April is becoming clearer.
All of the talk will surround the top two quarterbacks, Stanford's Andrew Luck and Baylor's Robert Griffin III. In my latest mock draft, I project a trade, which is something I don't like to do, but it's necessary since I believe a team will trade up with the St. Louis Rams to secure Griffin's services.
There are some surprise selections in this version of my mock draft and those picks may not be popular. But the goal in a mock draft is to mix team need with value on the board, and if the value is higher at a secondary need than a teams primary need that's the direction you should choose.
With that said, the Indianapolis Colts currently hold the first pick in the draft and are on the clock...
